Programmed are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of geosynthetic products used across civil construction, infrastructure, mining, drainage, rail, road, water management, and environmental projects.
Working within the Quality team, you will be responsible for conducting product testing to ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards. This role offers a combination of hands-on testing and administrative duties in a manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Testing products to assess durability, strength, and performance
Operating specialized testing equipment
Recording and analyzing test results
Entering data accurately into internal systems
Reporting any quality concerns or product inconsistencies
Assisting with general laboratory housekeeping and documentation
Manual handling of products up to 10kg as required
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic mathematics and data entry skills
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and database systems
The ability to follow procedures and instructions precisely
Strong organizational and time management skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, manufacturing, construction materials, or a science-related field
Experience working with testing equipment or quality assurance processes
Stable Monday to Friday position
